New Jacksonville-Based Clothing Line Opens Online Store to the Public
Shoreside is a surf-inspired clothing company based in Jacksonville, Florida founded in 2006 by Jacob "Jake" Wulff. Started by 22-year old Jacksonville local, Jacob Wulff, Shoreside is quickly becoming known both by Jacksonville beach-goers, and online shoppers. To help get Shoreside branded and off the ground, Jacob has teamed up with Printfection, a Denver, Colorado "print on demand" business that allows t-shirt designers to open up shop and profit off of their designs. Shoreside has honored Printfection's offerings and have taken their ideas, and online store to Printfection's service. Printfection will handle Shoreside's order fulfilment and product management.
Shoreside's website, located at shoresideclothing.com, opens it's virtual doors this week with over 60 designs for both men and women -- and even kids. "Too many popular "beach brands" forget about the kids -- when in fact, kids aged 5-12 make up a large percentage of surf-inspired brand purchases," says Sara Crowell, fashion analyst, "...they [Shoreside] definitely have the right idea." Shoreside isn't alone in the field, as local brand "Salt Life" has seen much success in its early years in Jacksonville. "I know we're not as big as Salt Life... but who says we won't soon be?" says Wulff.
