Lavin Lacrosse Camps Announces the TC Select Traveling Lacrosse Program to Begin the Summer of 2012

Minneapolis, MN, December 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Lavin Lacrosse Camps officially announced on November 28th, 2012 that they will field two select boys lacrosse teams during the summer of 2012. Having been closely associated with other programs in the past and after having great success with their lacrosse camps and clinics within the Minneapolis area, they are excited to add two select lacrosse teams this summer.

Lavin Lacrosse Camps spun off of Lavin Lacrosse, a retail lacrosse store in Rosemount, MN, to facilitate the growing demand for lacrosse camps, clinics, and leagues in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Beginning with their relationship with the University of Minnesota Duluth men's lacrosse team and the Bulldog Lacrosse Camp, Lavin Lacrosse Camps has conducted day and overnight camps, small clinics for positional players and new players, coaches clinics, and summer lacrosse leagues. The introduction of two select teams will be an exciting addition to the efforts they have already put forward in Minnesota.

Lavin Lacrosse Camps owner Jesse Schelitzche is eager to get started and create a program that gives Minnesota kids a great opportunity within lacrosse. "I started playing when there were only a few high school teams in the state. Our only options to play against the talent on the East Coast was to pack our bags and attend a camp alone. Today, we're giving more and more Minnesota kids an opportunity to play against some of the best talent in the country and be part of a team." Head Coach of the Rising Senior team, Casey Mithun, is also excited about TC Select. "Having had the opportunity to travel the world playing lacrosse, I know what an impact that has made in my life. Being able to give that experience to local high school players is going to be a blast."

The entire coaching staff for TC Select has played at the college level and moved into coaching roles since graduating. With the experienced staff ready to get started, TC Select should be a great addition to Minnesota lacrosse scene.
