Learn About the Business of Non-Profit Branding on the New Edition of Riechesbaird’s "Branding Business" Radio Show
Dan McQuaid, CEO of OneOC, discusses the importance branding for today’s non-profit organizations
Irvine, CA, December 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- RiechesBaird, named one of the nation’s top BtoB corporate branding agencies in the United States by BtoB Magazine earlier this year for the 10th consecutive year, has premiered the newest installment of its “Branding Business” radio show. The show, found at www.brandingbusiness.com, analyzes the strategic importance of branding for non-profit organizations, and features Dan McQuaid, CEO at OneOC.
“The leadership and stakeholders connected to the then-Volunteer Center of Orange County, were confused about what the non-profit organization stood for and unable to clearly articulate the purpose of their organization and benefits to the community,” said show host Ray Baird, co-founder and president CEO of RiechesBaird. “RiechesBaird worked with the organization to guide them through a strategic rebranding process that ultimately allowed them to express their story, vision and purpose effectively and increase the awareness and perception of this valuable organization.”
McQuaid was named OneOC’s Chief Executive in November, 2005, and through his tenure OneOC has grown in total revenue from three to more than $12 million. Before joining OneOC, McQuaid spent 20 years as the Executive Director of Canyon Acres Children’s Services, a non-profit organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families. Since 2000, McQuaid has been retained as a consultant to more than 125 Southern California non-profits, providing growth planning, evaluation and training services. In addition to his work in the non-profit sector, McQuaid is an inactive licensed child, adult and family psychotherapist. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Riverside and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with distinction from Columbia University.
With volunteer, training, consulting and business services, OneOC helps Orange County’s non-profits become as effective and efficient as they are passionate about their missions. OneOC’s services are fully integrated, and strengthened through partnership with other local service providers. Together, they work to accelerate the success of Orange County non-profits, enabling them to reach their full potential.
