The Institute for Professional Development Launches IPD, Higher Education Services Division
Phoenix, AZ, December 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Building on its nearly 40-year history as the leading provider of higher education partnerships that assist colleges and universities with developing successful adult programs, the Institute for Professional Development (IPD) announced the launch of its Higher Education Services division. This division was created to provide colleges and universities with multifaceted products and services that increase student recruitment, reduce student attrition, and provide additional revenue streams. The new division will focus on identifying mutually beneficial, comprehensive program development partnerships as well as draw upon IPD’s many successful existing products and services offering them as stand-alone options for clients. Some of these products and services include:
• TouchPoint, a 360-degree retention solution
• Comprehensive adult student enrollment planning
• Comprehensive program and systems reviews
• On-site enrollment training
• On-site faculty training and development
• eCARL, an Electronic Comprehensive Academic Resource for Learning
• Student Enrollment Experience Survey
• Customized marketing, research, accounting and compliance services
"In today's challenging educational environment, leaders in higher education must find ways to remain competitive and relevant while also balancing their budgets. With almost 40 years of experience in the adult education market, IPD has developed adult degree services that have proven successful at more than 40 campuses and learning centers across the U.S. Over the years we have learned that every university has its own culture and area of need. IPD prides itself in our ability to customize our partnerships to meet those specific areas of need while simultaneously providing products and services that increase student satisfaction and maintain academic integrity. By supporting this new effort, we believe we can better meet the unique needs of our partners and their students," said IPD President, Dr. Ron King.
The division will be led by Michelle Koppitz, who has over 18 years of management experience with IPD. Koppitz brings a wealth of experience to her role, having served on IPD training, enrollment and competency committees as well as having developed and marketed educational programs and services for a number of partner institutions. Additionally, Kristofer VanHorn, one of IPD’s most accomplished and successful Corporate Education Liaisons, will support the division’s outreach efforts. The division will operate at the Chicago Apollo Corporate Headquarters.
IPD plans to begin offering these new services through its Higher Education Services division immediately. For more information about IPD’s Higher Education Services, visit www.ipd.org.
