Infor Appoints Claudio Umaschi Vice President, Latin America EAM
New Vice President Focuses on Strategies to Increase Infor’s Enterprise Asset Management Presence In Key Markets and Expand Channel Interaction
Atlanta, GA, May 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Infor today announced the appointment of Claudio Umaschi as vice president of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) business unit, Infor Latin America. Umaschi is responsible for increasing Infor’s presence in key markets, improving activities with the channels and developing commercial strategies for Infor EAM.
Enterprising companies rely on EAM to manage processes and measure the performance of assets, resulting in significant cost and resource savings. Umaschi will lead the company’s effort to offer Latin American customers asset management solutions so they can implement a preventive maintenance program that helps monitor and manage critical assets.
Previously, Umaschi was director of EAM for the Southern Region of Infor Latin America including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. In his new role, Umaschi now covers the whole Latin American region. Before joining Infor, Umaschi worked for Price Waterhouse as an Industrial Area Consultant, and was also an independent consultant in the maintenance-oriented technology sector.
He has also served as Professor of Strategic Planning at the Morón University of Argentina and participated as speaker in several International Congresses and Seminars.
Umaschi received a Marketing MBA and an Industrial Engineer degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
