F8 Photo Studios Provides Cover Art for New "Carolina Bride" Magazine
Raleigh, NC, May 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A bridal portrait by Cara Galati of f8 Photo Studios in Raleigh was selected for the premier cover of Carolina Bride magazine, which debuted on newsstands this month.
The selected photograph features then bride-to-be Emily Barrett of Raleigh lounging on an antique settee in the historic Louisburg Inn in Louisburg, NC, wearing a vintage, strapless wedding gown. Other photographs by f8’s Galati appear with the accompanying article, including an image where Barrett strikes a dramatic pose in front of the inn’s red doors, another with her legs and bare feet thrown over a claw-footed tub, and a full-length vertical shot where the bride pauses in a vineyard nearby, the train of her gown fanning across the lush, green grass. The author of the article described Galati’s portraits as “modern…with an art house look.”
Barrett, who is co-owner of Porto home furnishings and accessories in Raleigh’s North Hills, told Carolina Bride that she “love(s) the casualness” of Galati’s portraits. “[Cara] was really fun to work with and I felt like a supermodel for the day.”
f8 Photo Studios is a partnership between Cara Galati and Jonathan Kaz, both veteran photographers who offer a variety of photographic services, including weddings. Their studio is located in The Royal Bakery Building on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.
Carolina Bride, published by the Charlotte Observer Publishing Company, is available at Borders, Barnes and Noble, Joseph-Beth Booksellers, and Park Road Books in the Charlotte area.
