Urban Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Opens in Addison
Dallas, TX, May 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Before you make plans this weekend you need to look at a totally new approach to old form of entertainment. Check out Tim Walker, CEO of BMW Entertainments new approach to Traditional Murder Mystery Dinner Theater.

No newcomer to urban entertainment Mr. Walker holds a degree in Applied Arts and was a working actor in the late 80's and early 90's. This working actor turned professional DJ in 1993 and has perform Nationally under the pseudonym "DJ BMW" for the last 15 years. His rise to fame came in the 1993 when he hosted an urban karaoke show at the legendary Dallas Cowboys Sport Cafe in Irving, Texas the official hang out of the Dallas Cowboys football team during the Height of the 90's Superbowl champs.

Mr. Walker has always been interested in taking traditional forms of entertainment and tailoring them to fit urban markets, the way he did karaoke in the early 90's at the Dallas Cowboys Sports Cafe. His urban karaoke show created such a phenomenal "buzz" that it gained recognition not only on a national level, but an international level and became a must do in Dallas, Texas on Thursday night for 10 years.

According to Mr. Walker adapting traditional forms of entertainment to fit urban markets is a concept with unlimited potential because urban markets are not usually the targets of traditionally main stream concepts such as karaoke or dueling pianos and his latest project an urban approach to the traditional murder mystery dinner theater.

BMW Entertainment Presents Tales From The Hood. Murder mysteries are an interactive stage play which unfolds as you eat dinner. The audience is a part of the drama and gets to play amateur detectives as they follow the clues to a murder that occurs in front of them. The first person to figure out the plot and reveal the killer based on the evidence wins cash and prizes.

The first dinner play is called Sex, Lies and Desperate Housewives, a spoof of some local news stories from the past about a local pro athlete in trouble with the law. Tickets are on sale at ticketweb.com or on the website bmwent.com for more information.

The show runs every Saturday in May at Maxwells 3885 Beltline Rd. in Addison, Texas doors open at 5:30, ends at 8:30.

Giving the urban markets a chance to experiance popular main stream entertainment concepts is what BMW Entertainment is all about. Mr. Walker is currently negociating with several national companies to bring his concepts to thier patrons and increase thier profit share in the urban marketplace
