DASHA to Participate as a Sponsor in an Event Hosted by NY Giants Professional Athletes to Benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

New York, NY, December 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Shannon and Dr. Darren Pollack, D.C., co-founders of DASHA, New York City’s leading lifestyle and wellness center, will join St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in cooperation with Build-A-Bear for a celebration and awareness event on December 13, 2011. The event is being held in honor of a few families whose children have reached milestones in their cancer treatment. Hosts of the event include New York Giants veteran Michael Clayton, Corey Webster and Aaron Ross.

The event is the result of a recent partnership between St. Jude and Build-A-Bear Workshop®, which allows St. Jude kids to celebrate the milestones in their lives while helping children in communities everywhere in the fight against cancer and other catastrophic diseases. As their part in this celebration, the Pollacks will be donating gift certificates for DASHA’s luxury services to all event attendees. Parents of two young children themselves, the Pollacks are actively involved in giving back to the community through involvement with local charities and are honored to take part in this special event.

Build-A-Bear will provide the ultimate red carpet Build-A-Bear Workshop® experience from 5-8 pm. Celebrity and athlete attendees can also participate in the festivities by buying and building bears and donating them to other children at St. Jude.
