The Beauty Lounge Has a New Attitude
The Beauty Lounge Minneapolis is under new management and has an updated service and special event offering including Men's Night and Sip and Snip weekly happy hour.
Minneapolis, MN, December 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- When Smart and Chic Bride was acquired by Spalon Montage earlier this year, it was asked what would become of the Beauty Lounge, the upscale beauty boutique located in Northeast Minneapolis. After speaking with several prospective buyers, it was decided that The Beauty Lounge will remain a part of the Northeast Minneapolis landscape with a new attitude. The Lounge is under new ownership (Independent Stride LLC) and will expand its already extensive service offerings. New additions to the service menu will include hair cuts, colors, extensions services, and waxing. They will continue to offer the popular makeup classes and special event services.
New owners, Michael Perry and Melissa Taylor have transformed the Lounge in to a salon with a twist. “We have heard our clients loud and clear and we don’t want to become just another salon in Northeast,” says the pair. The modern vintage Lounge has a relaxed atmosphere and encourages guests to make themselves at home. Even if guests are not receiving services they can shop the wide range of specialty candles, bath and body products, and hair accessories by local designers Bethany Lorelle and Artistic Edition.
The prime location makes the Lounge a perfect destination for ladies night out and bachelorette parties. Ladies can get dolled up with up-dos, makeup applications, share drinks, and listen to music. They can then continue their evening at one of the many local restaurants or bars in the area. The Beauty Lounge hasn’t forgotten about the men either. Men are welcome at the Beauty Lounge every day and Men’s night on Mondays from 4-7 with $20 haircuts. For the Happy Hour crowd, introducing Sip and Snip. Every Thursday night from 4-7 enjoy a glass of wine and $10 off all services.
The existing talented team will remain in place and there will be some growth with 2 more full time stylists. When in town celebrity hair stylist Pearson Knight calls the Beauty Lounge home.
If you are located in the east side of the metro you can visit the St. Paul sister to the Minneapolis location. The St. Paul Beauty Lounge is beauty boutique and lash bar specializing in lash extensions, skin care services, makeup services, and special event hair/makeup.
The Beauty Lounge will have an open house party Saturday, January 7 from 5-8pm.
Regular salon hours are Monday-Friday 12-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and available by appointment outside of regular hours.
