IT Mass Deployment for the World’s Largest Fast Food Restaurant Chain
ISG technology provided a full end-to-end service for the successful implementation of the project throughout nearly 900 sites of the World's Largest Fast Food Restaurant chain.
Egham, United Kingdom, December 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- ISG technology’s extensive experience in multi-site roll-out projects led to their awarding of another challenging project for one of the world’s largest fast food restaurants.
The project provided each restaurant location throughout the UK and Northern Ireland with an additional PC or laptop to be used for staff training purposes. The Customer also required a health check on all of the existing equipment at the sites. An additional challenge was the requirement to perform some installs out of hours so as not to disrupt the restaurant’s trade.
ISG technology provided a full end-to-end service for the successful implementation of the project throughout nearly 900 sites. ISG technology was responsible for the organisation of the logistics of the IT hardware and engineer visits. The equipment was built and configured before its shipment to the restaurants. Whilst on site, the engineers provided additional networking services, including the installation of structured cabling and outlets for the new equipment, along with installation of wall brackets to which the equipment was mounted. All equipment was thoroughly tested and demonstrated to the restaurant manager to ensure correct functionality and that the restaurant was pleased with the services provided.
This challenging project was carefully planned and co-ordinated by ISG technology’s Project Support Services. All engineer visits were co-ordinated with each restaurant location to ensure an employee would be available to allow the engineers access. The engineering teams provided updates on each restaurant’s progress, whilst the Project Support team produced real-time reports for the Customer. The Customer received finalised reports summarising the status of each site, the details of any issues and the work completed.
The ambitious project was completed on time and within budget and the Customer benefited from the professionalism and superior work provided by ISG technology.
