Dr. Stephen Gawey, M.D. Enhances ZOMM’s Position in 2012 as the Company Makes a Strong Push Into the Personal Safety Category

As ZOMM further expands its reach to the emergency response and personal security markets in 2012, Dr. Gawey will serve as ZOMM’s ultimate authority on medical issues. A key link between ZOMM and the healthcare community, Dr. Gawey will be responsible for ensuring compliant policies and directives, while also providing insight into the most important personal health issues facing consumers around the globe.

Dr. Gawey currently serves as Chief Resident and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma, School of Medicine and as both the Medical Director and acting staff physician at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. At St. John, Dr. Gawey is responsible for developing, training and implementing policies and best practices as Medical Director of St. John’s Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Healthy Lifestyles and Executive Center.
Recognized for his outstanding leadership, ethics and medical expertise, Dr. Gawey is a three-time winner of the Best Doctor Award - voted by peers - and was recently honored with the Best Doctors® in America Award for 2011-2012.
