Fabulous Apparel for the Faithful Fashionista
Atlanta Designer Enlist the Help of Local PR Firm to Re-launch Faith-based T-Shirt Line
Atlanta, GA, December 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kelli Flournoy PR is excited to announce the addition of Divinitee to their growing client roster. The contemporary, faith-based t-shirt line, founded in Atlanta, GA in 2006, is in the process of a complete rebranding campaign and scheduled to launch their new website and product line in 2012.
Forever 21 helped blaze the trail of faith demonstration in the contemporary clothing industry by printing popular scripture John 3:16 on the bottom of their shopping bags. Divinitee enters the same market aiming to expel the dull stigma attached to faith-based apparel through exclusive designs targeting young women between the ages of 18-30. Each shirt shares positive, uplifting messages and makes a bold statement about today’s spiritually sophisticated woman.
Jemimah Scarlett, Founder and CEO of Divinitee LLC, long aspired to work in fashion but found the overtly sexual messages in the industry conflicted with her beliefs. It was out of her passion for the industry, yet disappointment in the lack of spiritual messages that Divinitee was born. Jemimah’s vision for the company is “to make God’s word known through high fashion and high quality apparel.” She admits that people are initially inclined to stereotype the line as “churchy” or “stuffy” but she is quick to explain that while she is certainly a Christian, she still has style. “I have created a t-shirt line that allows young women to both share their beliefs and remain fashionable,” proclaims that Atlanta native.
Five years after Divinitee made their debut in 2006, Jemimah determined that a complete brand overhaul was necessary in order to make a greater impact on the market. “Rebranding follows a specific technique and is contingent on each clients’ past paths and new goals,” says Kelli Flournoy, Founder and President of Kelli Flournoy PR. “We are focused on setting an improved image, creating new designs, assessing a core audience and expanding the company.” Divinitee is scheduled to release their new collection during Winter 2012.
