Three Seven Marketing, Inc. Holds Charity Event to Raise Money for Operation Smile
Three Seven Marketing held a karaoke contest in Louisville where donations and prizes added to the fun while Three Seven Marketing raised $500 for Operation Smile.
Louisville, KY, December 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Three Seven Marketing gathered members of the company along with family and friends to raise money for charity. The company held a karaoke contest in Louisville where donations and prizes added to the fun while Three Seven Marketing raised $500 for Operation Smile.

Operation Smile, a non-profit company founded in 1982, is an international children's medical charity that corrects children’s facial deformities. Operation Smile is a mobilized force of medical professionals and volunteers who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.
It is reported that every three minutes a child is born with a cleft, often times rendering them unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some cultures, these deformities cause a child to be shunned and rejected. Operation Smile is able to step in and repair these children’s faces, since, in many cases, their parents can't afford to give them the surgeries they need to live a normal life.
The charity event was held at Akikos in the highlands of Louisville. Money was raised through a cover charge for each participant in addition to optional donations. Over forty participants helped raise over $300. The President of Three Seven Marketing, Tara Masia, contributed an additional personal donation of $175 to help the event reach its goal of raising $500. The company also donated two $50 gift cards to Target that were awarded to the winning team. All proceeds went directly to Operation Smile.
“I am so proud of the team here. It is exciting to work with a group of people that are passionate about giving back. We have done several charity events with the company and it’s always so great to see how involved everyone wants to be. I look forward to seeing what more the team is capable of both in their careers and in their communities,” explains Tara Masia, President of Three Seven Marketing Group.
Three Seven Marketing Group has also volunteered with the Autism Society of America, The Lupus Alliance Of America, The American Cancer Society and Relay For Life. The company is planning to expand to new locations in 2012 and during this time plans to continue with their philanthropic efforts.
