Christmas Comes Early at Hattons Solicitors
St Helens, United Kingdom, December 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- This Christmas Hattons Solicitors supported St Helens Councils Christmas Gift Appeal with Hattons staff, local people and businesses donating hundreds of gifts and toys to the cause.
Every year St Helens Councils Early Intervention Service appeals to the public to donate gifts for needy children and teenagers in the local area, giving them out in the week before Christmas.
Hattons Solicitors got behind the appeal after getting involved last year, by promoting it to the local community and its own staff members. Amongst the gifts donated were books, toys for all ages, cosmetics, and several hand knitted cuddly toys.
Other local businesses also joined in with Hattons appeal with Cafe Bocboc in Eccleston generously giving a free drink to everyone who donated a toy and dropped it off at their shop. Cafe Aroma, F.W. Marsh Funeral Services and Stradone Ltd also decided to donate toys rather than doing a staff Secret Santa at work.
Senior Partner at Hattons Solicitors, Bruce Hatton said, “I am overwhelmed by the generosity that local people have shown this year donating hundreds of gifts. In tough economic times it’s sometimes easy to forget those less fortunate, and its heart warming to see so many people actively getting involved, helping to put a smile on local children’s faces.
“We are proud to support such a worthy cause and everyone here at Hattons Solicitors would like to thank everyone who donated to the cause this Christmas.”
