TomCat Films LLC Acquires “Nothing Sacred”
TomCat Films LLC Acquires “Nothing Sacred”, Starring William Sadler and French Superstar Thierry Lhermitte. Film also marks the final on screen appearance of international star, Andre Valardy.
Beverly Hills, CA, December 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Film sales company, TomCat Films LLC and producer, Merlion Entertainment, announced that they have made an agreement for the international distribution rights to Nothing Sacred, starring William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption, Eagle Eye), Thierry Lhermiite (The Dinner Game), Philippe Nahon (High Tension, Irreversible), Debbie Rochon (Skeleton Key) and introducing Naama Kates and Alan Barnes Netherton. Deal was brokered by Alan Miller of A-One Entertainment.
The film tells the story of a pair of twins, Blue and Delilah, prophesied to avenge their mother's murder by killing their father, a dark sorcerer named Chambers, played by Sadler. To find their father, the twins must journey across the globe, hunting down their horrifying legions of brothers and sisters. But time is running out on fate. Always a step ahead of his children, Chambers scours the Earth, uncovering the ancient secrets that will allow him to cheat destiny and achieve immortality. If Chambers succeeds, no one will be able to stop him.
"Take a journey through the ancient world of magic and monsters hiding among us,” explains co-director, Dylan Bank. "A world that threatens to destroy our own if Blue and Delilah can’t track down their father and kill him before he becomes immortal."
Nothing Sacred is the second film for directing-duo Dylan Bank and Morgan Pehme, the filmmakers of IFC Films’s 2009 release Nightmare. Like Nightmare, which won 15 film festival awards including Best Picture and Best Director at the Chicago Horror Film Festival, Nothing Sacred is shot in HD “with a striking aesthetic that combines dreamy colors and gritty intimacy,” according to director, Bank.

The film also marks the final screen appearance of one of Europe’s best loved celebrities, Andre Valardy, who was known as the “Human Chameleon” with his ability to stretch his face and impersonate famous people and characters. In the film, which is dedicated to his memory he plays the immortal Javedan.
