Fifty Dollar Designs Takes the Guesswork Out of Your Marketing Budget
New Vendio/Facebook Store Fifty Dollar Designs is open for business, completing all projects for $50. Custom logos, web banners, advertisements and more available for one price.
Mineral, VA, December 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Fifty Dollar Designs is a Vendio store where you can purchase custom-designed logos and artwork such as web banners for one price, created by designer and writer Sharon McElwee.
“Buying designs can be very intimidating because designers usually charge an hourly rate and do not always stick to their estimate,” explains McElwee.
“Fifty Dollar Designs takes the guesswork out of your marketing budget by charging a set price for each project,” she continues.
The process is simple:
1. A customer buys a logo or other product from the Vendio store or directly from the Facebook fan page.
2. Fifty Dollar Designs contacts the customer for graphic design direction.
3. Customer is provided with four ideas and chooses the best graphic design. They can make further changes (up to two rounds of revisions are included) or use the logo as provided.
4. A high-quality final file is provided to the customer .
The site currently sells only logos and web banners, but she will be adding more products very soon. Future projects include business cards, postcards, web content writing, and small ads.
McElwee has been freelancing as a graphic designer and writer for as long as she can remember.
“Even when I had a job, I was always working on things of my own,” she says.
McElwee began her career as an Editorial Assistant for a government agency. Since then, she has had the privilege to work with large companies such as The Washington Post, Freddie Mac and the American Heart Association on various printing projects. She has also written content for companies like Groupon and Priceline as a subcontractor.
“It helped me learn faster by working with such large clients early in my career,” McElwee said.
