After two missionary years in Hong Kong at the height of the Vietnam War just down the coast, Richard Decker graduated with Honors from BYU and then pursued his passion writing fiction. Immersing himself in Chinese history and culture, he returned to Hong Kong to begin a thirty-year adventure writing No River Wide Enough. The four volumes of fast-paced historical fiction are based on the Hong Kong Decker knew and the China they only dreamed of. Richard lives with his wife Diann in Orem, Utah.
