Connecticut Security Guard Course Training
Two 8 hour courses train and certifies unarmed and armed security guards to carry a firearm for approved security companies in Connecticut. These courses are fully reimburseable through the Department of Veterans Affairs and military under the GI Bill. Handuffing, OC Spray and Police Baton Classes are also conducted at the HF LearnSafety Firearms and Security Officer Training Center, New Milford, CT.
New Milford, CT, December 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The 8 hours CT Security Officer Guard Card program and the Blue Card Armed Security Guard Courses are available through HF LearnSafety Firearms & Security Officer Training Center at 280 Kent Road, New Milford, CT. These courses certify men and women who wish to enter the security field as an armed guard in Connecticut.
Course are taught by Herbert Furhman, a state law enforcement and public security firearms instructor and retired police officer. Upon successful completion of the Blue Card course with employment acceptance, the participants state pistol permit will be amended by the Connecticut State Police to carry a firearm for security employment.
You must have a CT state pistol permit and appropriate handgun for training and qualification.
Successful course completion including a written examination and live fire firearm qualification covering Connecticut laws and firearm use is required. All classes are conducted weekly.
