Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to Exhibit at Daily Telegraph Holiday & Travel Show
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines – recently voted "Cruise Line of the Year" in the "Cruise International Awards 2011" – will be exhibiting on Stand 421 at the Daily Telegraph Holiday & Travel Show.
Ipswich, United Kingdom, December 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Held at Manchester Central from 6th to 8th January 2012. Visitors can come and talk to the Fred. Olsen experts, who will be on hand to advise them about the choice of cruises available, and will help them select the perfect cruise holiday for their tastes and budget.
Knowledgeable Fred. Olsen staff will be promoting the cruise lines’ extensive programme of worldwide cruises, from a choice of convenient regional UK ports. Fred. Olsen will be showcasing some great offers, through the "Captains’ Collection." This new brochure, of 73 specially-selected ex-UK cruises, offers a range of savings, some up to £1,000 on main brochure prices (depending on cabin grade), as well as added bonuses, such as onboard spending credit and free travel or parking.
For anyone booking a cruise at the Show, there will be additional savings of between £75 and £325 per person.
Fred. Olsen will also be participating in the "Travel Talk" theatre each day, with a presentation on "The Fred. Olsen Difference."
The award-winning cruise line is known for its friendly and very personal touch and the relaxed atmosphere to be experienced aboard its fleet of four, traditional, more intimate ships. Many cruises offer additional attractions, such as the Vistas onboard enrichment programme, with experts in a variety of different fields giving talks and tuition throughout the cruise, and live entertainment thorough the popular Music & Laughter programme. Both these programmes were recognised with awards voted for by readers of Cruise International magazine in 2011; Fred. Olsen won the award for "Best Educational Cruise" for Vistas and "Best Live Performance" for The OperaBabes, who appeared as part of the Music & Laughter programme.
Vistas speakers appearing in 2012 include the explorer, Colonel John Blashford-Snell, the veteran broadcaster, Michael Nicholson, food / wine expert and TV personality, Jilly Goolden, and sporting legends, footballer Terry Neill and darts champion, Keith Deller.
