G.M. Roth's First Fundraising Boutique of 2007 to Benefit Nashua Pastoral Care Center
Nashua, NH, May 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- In celebration of Mother's Day and support of single mothers, G.M. Roth Design Remodeling will host the First Annual "Spring Fever Extravaganza Shopping Boutique" on Friday, May 4th from 3:00-8:00pm, and Saturday, May 5th, from 10:00am-5:00pm. The event will take place in their new showroom at 12 Murphy Drive in Nashua.
This is G.M. Roth's first fundraising boutique of the year, with all proceeds going to the Nashua Pastoral Care Center, a local non-profit agency which provides low-income individuals and families at-risk of homelessness with the basic necessities of life.
"It's our goal to do at least four of these events every year," said Cynthia Mailhot, G.M. Roth's Director of Public Relations and Events. "The December event, which supported Marguerite's Place, was very well received by the community and the artisans who participated."
While last December's "Holiday Home Shopping Boutique" featured the works of 14 juried New Hampshire artisans, the Spring event features 24, plus products from such well-known brands as Lia Sophia Jewelry, The Pampered Chef, and Mary Kay.
"We care deeply about the cause of helping single mothers and families through programs like those offered by Nashua Pastoral Care Center," Mailhot added, "and we're pleased to continue that work with the Boutique, and the raffle as well."
Each artisan and vendor at the event will be raffling off a $60-$75 item, and tickets are $1 each. Additionally, attendees on Friday evening will be treated to a reception with appetizers and a cash bar, with music provided by the Fletcher Bis-Cornet Jazz Trio. And on Saturday, popular harpist De Luna returns to G.M. Roth to play throughout the day.
Instead of an admission fee, cash donations to the Nashua Pastoral Care Center will be accepted at the Boutique, as well as donations of toiletry items (grooming and hygiene supplies). Attendees receive five raffle tickets with admission.
