A New Kind of Transitional Care Offered at Oak Manor Senior Living Community

Oak Manor Senior Living Community is announcing the opening of 20 additional Assisted Living Studio apartments. These apartments will be located in a building that also accommodates Independent Residents. Therefore, an atmosphere has been created where seniors may truly age in place. Once an Independent Resident is ready for the next level of care, they do not have to worry with the aggravations of moving. No transitional fees will be charged and residents may continue to reside in an environment to which they are accustomed. “We have many residents who come to us in a very gray area. They only need help with medication management and don’t need to pay for the Assisted Living care,” said Tina Solava, Oak Manor’s Marketing Director. “This transitional care is a perfect solution, giving residents a secure and safe environment as well as help with medication management in a very independent setting and with other independent people. When they need additional care, they do not need to move again. They simply elect the additional care levels.
