Peter Lawless is a Partner in the law firm of Johns, Southward, Glazier, Walton, Margetts. Mr. Lawless received a Bachelor’s Degree and a Diploma in Public Sector Management from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia and a Master’s Degree from the Royal Military College. Mr. Lawless is a Graduate of the National Coaching Institute with a diploma in High Performance and he is a Chartered Professional Coach. Mr. Lawless’ area of practice is in General Civil Litigation and Sports/Recreation Law. He has published numerous academic papers.
He is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, the Treasurer of the Canadian Bar Association Civil Litigation Section, a Board Member of the Coaches Association of British Columbia and a member of the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence and Coaches of Canada. Mr. Lawless is the recipient of numerous honors and awards for coaching and legal military including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold and Silver Awards, the Canadian Forces Decoration, British Columbia Athletics High Performance Coach of the Year and the Coaches Association of British Columbia International Coach of the Year.
