220 Communications Presents "Pampering for a Purpose" May 19th

Chicago, IL, May 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Monthly "Sessions" event at Hidden Pearl Cafe takes a turn toward charitable giving this May with "Pampering For A Purpose" an event to raise funds to support the fight against Cancer, Saturday, May 19th, from Noon to 4PM at 1060 East 47th Street, in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. The event will provide attendees a number of relaxation options, including free chair massages, hand and foot treatments, as well as, free food prepared by the Chefs of Real Men Cook For Charity. Other features of the event include a makeover artist, one of a kind jewelry, skin care products from Sankofa Soaps, candles and much more.

The highlight of the afternoon will be the prize drawing for charity with a portion of the proceeds donated to various cancer charities. The drawing will feature tickets to the hit musical The Color Purple, sterling silver jewelry from Ena Jewlery, a massage therapy session from Ann’ko Spa Therapy International and much more. Prizes totaling over $1000 in value will be available to the lucky winners. A spokesperson for 220 Communications said "We wanted to host this event to celebrate the survivors but also honor those who have given their lives or are still fighting. We have something very special for all attendees who have overcome or are still fighting Cancer they are our true guests of honor. It is a disease that truly touches us all on many levels. The majority of us either have a relative or friend whose life has been impacted by this dreaded disease."
