Lovebites Joins Rise of Small Desserts in 2012
2011 saw the rise of mini desserts, from Macarons and Cake Pops to Katie Rosenhouse's new concept "lovebites."
New York, NY, December 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- 2011 saw the rise of "Small Desserts" as seen on culinary tracking sites like Starchefs.com and everywhere from cake pops at Starbucks to the New York macaron invasion of Laduree. Food Network's "Sweet Genius" Katie Rosenhouse is right on-trend. Her new company lovebites is now on Kickstarter with some great donation rewards to combat that killer sweet tooth. Not only is she planning on selling mini sweets out of a small kitchen on the Upper East Side if funded, but a portion of the donations is promised to a charity called "Cookies for Kid's Cancer," established to raise money for research for pediatric cancer. An alum of Bouley, Le Cirque, The Russian Tea Room and David Burke, there'll be some good eats.
