William E. Layden received his MD from the University of Vermont, his Residency from the University of Louisville, and his Fellowship from the University of California, San Francisco. He is an MD at the University Glaucoma Centre, specializing in Ophthalmology, and is a glaucoma specialist. Dr. Layden is one of the 13 founding members of the American Glaucoma Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Glaucoma Society. Dr. Layden has 60 publications.
