William Peace University Sponsors Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Executive Women’s Luncheon
Four-Year Baccalaureate University Supports Women In Politics Event Set for Jan. 12.
Raleigh, NC, January 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that the university will sponsor the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Executive Women’s Luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, located at 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd. in Cary, N.C. from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The luncheon will cover the topic of “Women in Politics: Heeding the Call of Public Service.” A panel of elected female officials will provide personal and professional insights into the political arena and all that encompasses running for public office. A nonpartisan forum, the panel will discuss the career paths that led to political offices, what is required for effective leadership and what inspired each individual to embark on careers of public service. Cost of the luncheon is $40 per employee of chamber member firms and $55 per employee of non-member firms.
