DiCicco Gulman & Company Names DaGraca Firm’s Newest Partner
Strengthening the Firm’s Architecture and Engineering Niche
Woburn, MA, January 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP (DGC) today announced that Chad J. DaGraca, CPA, of Burlington, MA, has been made a Partner at the CPA and business consulting firm. Prior to his promotion, DaGraca was a Principal in the firm’s Commercial Business Group.
In his new role as Partner, DaGraca will remain focused on helping owners of closely-held businesses with their financial and tax advisory needs. He will draw on his experience in both audit and taxation, as well as financial and tax planning. At the same time, his range of expertise extends to ownership transition, internal controls and systems analysis, overhead rate and FAR consulting, as well as evaluating operational strategies and business opportunities, including M&A due diligence. All of this lends to his well-rounded leadership skills.
DaGraca also has specialized expertise in the architectural and engineering (A&E) industries, playing a leading role in producing DGC’s annual Architectural Study. He frequently speaks at architectural and engineering related programs addressing topics from profitability to ownership transition. He is currently the treasurer of the Boston Architectural College and co-chair of the Accounting and Finance Forum of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts.
Before joining DGC, DaGraca spent seven years at a large regional accounting firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. DaGraca and his wife, Linda, reside in Burlington with their two children.
“Since joining the firm, Chad has played a significant role in the growth of the firm and the commercial business practice in particular,” according to Managing Partner Leonard N. DiCicco, Jr., CPA. “Chad has a ‘front-row seat’ with his clients, demonstrating superior consultative skills, which adds significant value to their business or personal situations. I am pleased to welcome Chad to our group of partners, who are focused on providing exceptional client service and contributing to overall firm growth.”
