SSD CEO invited to become a member of the TECH Council in Houston, Texas.
Houston, TX, January 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Roger Janik, Server Side Design president, has accepted an invitation to become a member of the Houston Technology Executive Council (TECH).
TECH aims to provide a forum for leading technology CEO’s who can assist in the advancement of Houston’s technology future. This is accomplished by building professional relationships with a broad base of Houston’s influential business leaders, keeping abreast of technology trends and influencing public policy through regular presentations held by key business and government leaders.
“I am deeply honored to have been chosen to be a part of such a prestigious organization that focuses on the acceleration of technology and seeks ways to stay ahead of today’s ever-changing world,” Janik said. “I look forward to contributing ideas concerning technological innovation with the council. In my line of work, technology is king. We have to stay on top of things in order to achieve success. Since I am already engrained in the technology field, I feel this is a perfect match between myself and the council. By combining our ideas together, we can pave the way for Houston to be the No. 1 leader in the country, as well as the world, when it comes to technology.”
Janik is president of Server Side Design, a Houston-based website promotion company that specializes in search engine optimization, pay per click advertising, social media marketing and local maps optimization. He said he feels it is his duty to remain abreast of all technological updates as it is vital to the success of his company.
In order to be invited to the TECH council, one must qualify as either a president, CEO, COO, or chair (currently or within the last five years) of a technology-oriented company with recurring annual sales/revenues in excess of $1 million. Or they can be a Senior Partner/Office (with responsibility for technology clients) of a professional services organization with limited total membership of 20 percent.
As a member of TECH, Janik will be invited to attend all TECH meetings as well as their next luncheon on January 24, which features Ashok Rao, Chairman, TiE Global.
TECH is made up of 85-90 individuals who are C-Level executives in broad arenas of technology including energy, life sciences, IT, aerospace, and advanced technologies. During luncheons, attendees have the opportunity to network and participate in interactive presentations made by the speakers.
TECH meets every 4th Tuesday of the month, except in June when the TECH members attend a Houston Astros game and a Holiday Reception in December. All meetings are held at the Houston Technology Center at 410 Pierce Street.
