Great Reviews from Mt. Airy, NC Community for Nashville Recording Artist, Rachael Johnson
Nashville, TN, January 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nashville Recording Artist, Rachael Johnson earns great reviews after performing this December to a full house at the Old North State Winery & Brewery in Mt. Airy, NC. One lucky fan left the show with an auctioned, one of a kind, Rachael Johnson show poster fetching $150. The poster was autographed by Johnson and designer, Nashville’s Artist to the Stars, Corey Frizzell of the famed Lefty Frizzell lineage.
“Old North State was pleased to present Rachael Johnson in her solo acoustic show. She involved the crowd in a wonderful performance. We were so happy to host such a talented up and coming musician! Mt Airy is proud to be the home town of Rachael Johnson. The audience truly showed that on Saturday night!” -Ellie Webb, Owner of Old North State Winery, Mt. Airy, NC
“I’ve taught and coached Rachael since she was 12 years old and she always had the desire and determination to do well. While in high school she had said that she would love to pursue a musical career one day. I knew then that her passion and love of music would lead her on a successful path in the music industry someday. I’m so proud of all of her accomplishments so far. It is so rewarding as a teacher to see a former student pursue her dreams. I look forward to her performances every time she comes back to Mount Airy and it amazes me how much she improves each time as a singer and songwriter. She is an inspiration and a role model for our youth today.” - Cathy Hiatt, Mt. Airy High School Soccer Coach, Mt. Airy, NC
A Nashville transplant, Rachael Johnson grew up in Mt. Airy, NC, the original “Mayberry,” a place memorialized in Americans' hearts as the beloved home town on the Andy Griffith Show. Three years in TN has found Johnson as an in demand solo artist, playing 20 to 25 shows a month in Nashville, surrounding cities and occasionally, out of state, sharing the stage with Country Stars like Jo Dee Messina, Josh Thompson, Little Texas, Dave Gibson, Chris Young, Craig Campbell and Trent Tomlinson to name a few.
She would begin to amass loyal fans, frequenting her full band live shows and the respect of established songwriters by showcasing her own original songs at Nashville’s famed writer’s nights. In 2011, The Rachael Johnson Band had the distinctive honor of being named the weekly house band at Nashville’s world famous Wildhorse Saloon.
