Meritage Management Honored as 2011 Accredited Management Organization of the Year

Salt Lake City, UT, January 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Meritage Management, a Salt Lake City company, was recently honored as the 2011 Accredited Management Organization of the Year at the Greater Salt Lake City Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Awards and Installation Banquet at the Sutton Hotel in Salt Lake City. Accredited Management Organization of the Year is given to the company that supports the Chapter through sponsorships, volunteerism, and attendance at Chapter sponsored events.

In addition to the company award, June Roseland, CEO, was awarded Certified Property Manager of the Year, and Artie Collins, Director of Operations & Marketing, was sworn in as the 2012 Accredited Residential Manager Coordinator on the Executive Board of Directors.

I also want to congratulate Angie for her individual award. Roseland joined Meritage in 1990 and has worked in virtually every position within the organization; from bookkeeping, to Property Manager, Corporate Controller, Executive Vice President, to her current position of President and CEO. She is an active and well respected member of many organizations in the industry including the Community Salt Lake City Institute (CSLCI) where she is the past Chairperson for the Membership Committee and current Co-Chair of the Legislative Action Committee. The Certified Property Manager of the Year award is given annually to the manager that made the most contribution of time, volunteerism, and service to the chapter's success.

Collins started at Meritage in 2005 as Administrative Support to the Maintenance Division. Over the years she has be promoted to Maintenance Division Manager, Office Administrator, to her current position as Director of Operations & Marketing. Collins is a licensed Affiliated Real Estate Agent and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM).
