Newness and growth abounds for this small business in Southeast Portland. The owner, Dr. Jess Barr Desbrow, DC is about to have her second child, so while she is growing, so are many facets of her chiropractic practice. The changes include a new business name, a new location and a new doctor.
Portland, OR, January 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- What has always been a family-focused practice, Growing Care, has really become known for its specialization in care for pregnancy, mothers and babies. This business was previously known by the doctor’s name, Dr. Jess Barr Desbrow, DC, and is now embracing a name to embody its true treatment demographic: “Growing Care: For Your Growing Belly, Baby and Family.”
As the owner is growing a baby, she has wisely decided to move the home-based practice to a new location outside of the home. Previously located off SE Division and 46th Avenue, the new office is only five blocks away at 4160 SE Division Street. The satellite office at Zenana Maternity and Family Spa will also disappear, as more simplicity and stability are achieved at the new office.
Since the fall of 2011, Dr. Shannon Eder, DC has been assisting Dr. Desbrow in her practice to be prepared to take over when her maternity leave begins in March 2012. This “long engagement” has allowed Dr. Eder to get to know most of the patients and practice logistics so that taking over will not only be seamless, but will also give Dr. Desbrow a genuine break to learn how to be a mother of two.
