SEPI Engineering Group President Appointed Chair of International Affairs Council Board of Directors

Raleigh, NC, May 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Sepi Asefnia, president of SEPI Engineering Group, has been named chair of the Board of Directors for the International Affairs Council (IAC) of North Carolina. As board chair, Asefnia will lead the efforts for promoting the understanding of world affairs, citizen-to-citizen diplomacy and the recognition of North Carolina as an international center of education, culture and business. The IAC is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that fulfills its mission by planning itineraries for visiting international dignitaries and professionals interested in business development, education, and other topics, as well as hosting a series of events that bring seasoned, high-profile speakers to the Triangle community. For the last several years, IAC has hosted more than 600 international visitors in the Triangle, ranking the Board as six out of 96 similar community-based organizations in the United States.
