Oxford, United Kingdom, January 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Oxford PR agency, BOTTLE, has been shortlisted for a hat trick of awards at the inaugural PR Moment Awards 2012, which celebrates the best public relations agencies in the UK.
BOTTLE has been shortlisted in the prestigious "Large Agency of the Year" category as well as for "Financial PR Campaign of the Year" for its work with borro.com - the world’s first online short term asset lender, providing short-term loans from £100-£100,000 secured against assets of value including jewellery, watches, diamonds, fine art and luxury cars.
The company brought BOTTLE onboard in February 2010 to come up with a public relations strategy that would generate good quality national media coverage and awareness of borro among journalists and consumers. BOTTLE took both a pro-active and re-active approach to the PR campaign that aimed to re-invent pawnbroking by challenging stereotypes and changing the "Dickensian image" which has long been associated with pawnbroking. BOTTLE achieved 53 items of good quality national and consumer financial media coverage, including the Financial Times, The Mail on Sunday and The Daily Telegraph.
Associate Director, Victoria McGovern, has also been shortlisted as Young PR Professional of the Year (Under 30) category.
Claire Cairns, CEO at BOTTLE says: “We’re delighted to start the year with the news that we have been shortlisted for these awards. The BOTTLE team has worked hard in the past year to make 2011 our most successful year yet and we look forward to repeating this in 2012.”
The final results will be announced at the PR Moment Awards on Wednesday 28 March at Villa Park, Birmingham.
