Team Saxo Bank Kicks Off the Season at Gran Canaria
The first Team Saxo Bank training camp of the year is just about to kick off.
Arguineguin, Spain, January 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- This time, the camp - from January 5th to January 15th - will be held on Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands and as part of their new partnership with Anfi Group, the team will stay at the splendid and luxurious resort, Anfi Emerald Club.
"The new season is approaching fast, so this camp is all about building the foundation, training wise, and preparing for the upcoming races. That's why this camp is so important for the team, and that's why I'm thrilled to have partnered with Anfi. Because of this deal we stay at a world class hotel, we have fantastic bike routes and surroundings and, last, but not least, the weather is perfect for training," team owner Bjarne Riis says.

The Anfi Group is forms part of the conglomerate of companies that make up the Santana Cazorla Company (GSC), headed by Santiago Santana. The Anfi Group employs a thousand staff at its five luxury resorts in Gran Canaria.
Presently, the company operates more than 5,000 tourist beds and on completion the Anfi Tauro Project will consist of 7,500 tourist beds, a marina with five hundred berths, and two public beaches in the Tauro Valley. "
