EmployIndy Appoints Chief Financial Officer
Indianapolis, IN, January 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- EmployIndy announced the appointment of Monty Combs as chief financial officer. Mr. Combs will oversee the budgetary, accounting and financial reporting practices of EmployIndy and direct the audit, financial monitoring, and resolution process of sub-recipients. Mr. Combs brings with him leadership, finance, administration, fraud and security, and property management experience from both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining EmployIndy, Mr. Combs served as chief financial officer and deputy commissioner for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. He previously served as deputy commissioner and controller for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, chief deputy treasurer of the Marion County Treasurer’s Office and chief investigator at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
“Mr. Combs brings a high level of financial and workforce development expertise to EmployIndy,” said Brooke Huntington, president and CEO of EmployIndy. “Because of his knowledge and experience, we are excited to have him on our team.”
Mr. Combs earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and a Certified Controls Specialist (CCS), Institute for Internal Controls. Mr. Combs began work with EmployIndy on December 28.
