Doodle Bugs! Commemorates 20th Anniversary with 20 Acts of Kindness
January 20, 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of Doodle Bugs! Children’s Centers.
Buffalo, NY, January 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In addition to traditional birthday celebrations at the nine local Doodle Bugs! centers – birthday cakes, decor, and lots of good cheer. – Doodle Bugs! is proud to announce a special charitable effort. To celebrate the fact that the doodle community is made up of passionate individuals who truly care, Doodle Bugs! is using Mr. Doodle Bug’s birthday as a unique opportunity to "pay it forward." The organization is commemorating 20 years of learning and laughter with 20 acts of kindness.
Mr. Doodle Bug and friends look forward to sharing their doodle spirit throughout Western New York. Every Doodle Bugs! location will participate in at least two acts of kindness - you’ll see Mr. Doodle Bug at nursing homes, children’s hospitals, city missions, public libraries, and other local organizations – taking advantage of opportunities to "pay it forward" in the community. Doodle Bugs! will share a total of 20 acts of kindness, to celebrate 20 years of building a community of happy children, happy parents, and happy teachers.
Details about the "Pay It Forward" initiative and the 20th anniversary are available online at www.doodlebugs.com. Residents of the Buffalo and Rochester areas who see Mr. Doodle Bug out and about in the community are encouraged to send a photo to Leia Daigler at leia.daigler@doodlebugs.com. Photos will be featured on Doodle Bugs! Facebook page. Requests for specific "Acts of Kindness" are also being accepted by email.
