Illinois State Bar Association Regional Event for General Practitioners February 9
General practice attorneys with all levels of practice experience will gain knowledge in a number of general practice areas
Chicago, IL, January 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) will kick off its 2012 Regional Event Series with “General Practice Update 2012 – Suburban Regional Event,” on Thursday, February 9, from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, Ten Marriott Drive, in Lincolnshire, Ill. A complimentary reception follows from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and is open to all attorneys in the area, regardless of having attended the seminar.
This full-day continuing legal education program provides attorneys in general practice with a number of updates including local rules in Lake County and northern Cook County districts; changes and updates to the Supreme Court Rules; and new developments in online research tools. A discussion on recent developments in Medicaid and long term care as well as employment law will be included.
The program is presented by the ISBA General Practice Section and co-sponsored by the Lake County Bar Association, McHenry County Bar Association, North Suburban Bar Association and the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. It qualifies for 7.0 credit hours based on a 60 minute MCLE (Minimum Continuing Legal Education) credit hour.
Cost, which includes lunch, is $150 for ISBA/co-sponsoring bar members and $305 for non-member lawyers and non-lawyers, by February 3; thereafter, prices increase $15. Reservations are required for the complimentary reception. Payment must be made in advance by check, money order, or credit card.
