Amber Alert Issued for Missouri Girl (Cassandra Peace - 6)

Kansas City, MO, May 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Bates County Sheriff's Department and The Missouri State Police have issued an Amber Alert for Cassandra Peace. The child was taken from school by her mother, Rachel Peace. Investigators report the suspect allegedly has made threats in the past to harm herself and her children.

Authorities describe Cassandra as white, 3 feet 6 inches tall and 52 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

The suspect Rachel Peace, 28, is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 145 pounds. She has reddish-brown hair and blue eyes.

The suspect vehicle is a 2003 cream-colored Kia Spectra with Missouri license plate 900-PCE. The suspect may may be headed for Rich Hill, Mo., or Nebraska. Anyone with information is asked to call 660-679-3232.
