2011/12 White Cliffs Business Awards Finalists Announced

Dover, United Kingdom, January 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Thirty companies from sectors including tourism, hospitality and business services have been announced as finalists in the first ever White Cliffs Business Awards.

Launched last year, the awards showcase "Business Excellence" across the White Cliffs Country with a total of 10 awards up for grabs, including Business of the Year, Outstanding Contribution to Tourism and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Winners will be announced at a spectacular awards ceremony taking place on Thursday 29th March at the magnificent Dover Town Hall, which will see people from the region come together to recognise the stars of the business community.

Simon Hood, Organiser, said: “Interest in the event has been greater than we had imagined, we received over 60 submissions from organisations across the white cliffs region.

“Submissions have come in from a variety businesses ranging from major international organisations to start-up businesses and the shortlist really highlights the diversity of the organisations we have in the region. I’d like to thank everyone who entered for making the launch so successful. With such stiff competition, I can honestly say that every shortlisted entrant is a winner and we are really excited about celebrating business successes on the night.”
