Glitnir Bank Attends European Seafood Expo in Brussels

Oslo, Norway, May 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Seafood Banking specialists Glitnir were in attendance at the European Seafood Exposition this year which took place between April 24th and 26th in Brussels. Seafood buyers and sellers from all over the world flocked to the annual three-day event which served as a one-stop resource to meet representatives from a whole range of global seafood-related companies.

Glitnir is no newcomer to the seafood financing arena. The Nordic bank has been serving the fishery and fish processing industry for over a century and has a team of specialist bankers with years of experience within banking and the seafood industry. Glitnir is currently undertaking major marketing campaigns in Denmark and Norway in a bid to raise its profile amongst the many large seafood companies based in Scandinavia.

The Glitnir delegates at the expo were pleased with the number of visitors to their booth which featured a life-size Formula 1 car and a luncheon talk by W. Dexter Paine III, President and Co-founder of Fox Paine & Company. Glitnir also organised a charity auction for a helmet signed by Michael Schumacher, the proceeds of which went to UNICEF. The highest bid ended at 2,500 Euros which was then matched by Glitnir.
