Stephen E. Scarantino was born on July 21, 1969. He received his MD from St. George's University, his Residency from St. Vincent's, and his BA in History and Pre Medical at Villanova University in 1991. He is an MD at The Women's Health Pavilion, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. Dr. Scarantino has received numerous awards, including the Top Resident Award, the Galloway Fellowship in Residency, New York State Licensure in Medicine & Surgery, Trademark Who's Who Certificate of Excellence, the Patients' Choice Award in 2009. Dr. Scarantino was elected as one of New York's favorite physicians, and has received America's Top OB/GYN Award in 2007. He has also received the Augustin N. Ravelo, M.D. Memorial Scholarship Award in 1999, and the Berlex Laboratories Resident Teaching Award-Best Second Year Teaching Resident,1996-1997. Dr. Scarantino is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Nassau Brooklyn Chapter, a Fellow of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, as well as a Fellow of the the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
