Online PMP® Exam Prep Provider Announces Contest to Offer “Best Tips to PMP Exam Students”
PMCAMPUS Online PMP® Exam Prep Provider Announces Social Media Contest Giving Away 60 PDU for PMP Online Course for “Best Tips For PMP Candidates”
Newark, DE, January 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- PMCAMPUS, a leading provider of online PMP® and CAPM® exam prep courses, as well as online PDU for PMP recertification courses, has announced the launch of a new contest for PMP certified professionals.
The contest, geared towards certified PMPs who mentor PMP aspirants, allows PMP Exam Candidates to gain valuable tips from these experienced PMPs.
To enter, contest participants must provide their best tips—in the form of an essay—to new PMP aspirants who are preparing for the PMP exam. The essay should be no less than 200 characters, and can cover a variety of topics. Judges are particularly looking for personal stories, recommendations of what to expect when studying and preparing for the PMP exam. These essays are intended to encourage PMP candidates to succeed in the best possible way.
Entrants will be judged on the following criteria: uniqueness, creativity, ease of applicability, relevance and alignment/coverage of global PMI standards. Judges will specifically look for interesting, easy-to-implement practices that are relevant and integral to PMI standards.
Entries submitted at http://promoshq.wildfireapp.com/website/6/contests/185840 will be considered.
Three grand-prize winners will be announced. They will receive a 60 PDU course from PMCAMPUS— Cross-Cutting Management Skills for Project Manager Professionals. They will also be offered the opportunity to guest blog for PMCAMPUS’s popular Project Management Blog and be featured across the PMCAMPUS networks. In addition to the grand prize, consolation prizes will be awarded for those who enter the top ten PMP certification “best tips” contest.
Experts in the field will serve as the judges for this contest, chosen by the PMCAMPUS e-learning team of experienced PMPs; these judges represent the PMCAMPUS blog editorial team, management team, and authoring team.
Essays are entered via the contest application, Wildfire, but—in the spirit of sharing valuable information—PMCAMPUS recommends posting these to three social media outlets: LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. The link to an entrant’s social media postings should be evident in the essay. To enter via Facebook, participants can go to the PMCAMPUS Facebook page and click on the “Contest” tab. When posting your tips on Twitter, use the hashtag #PMPTips.
Contestants can otherwise enter at http://promoshq.wildfireapp.com/website/6/contests/185840.
The contest entry period runs now through February 13, 2012. Winners will be chosen by the PMCAMPUS e-learning team of experienced PMPs and announced February 23, 2012. This contest is open only to PMI Certified PMPs, and winners must provide proof of certification upon winning. A contest for PMP exam prep students will be announced in early 2012.
