Banner Advertising Now Available on World Bare Knuckle Boxing Association’s Website

The World Bare Knuckle Boxing Association’s new website is currently offering banner advertising space.

New York, NY, January 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The World Bare Knuckle Boxing Association—WBKBA—has recently announced they will be offering banner advertising space on their website. Last year the WBKBA—World Bare Knuckle Boxing Association—made history as it held the first sanctioned bare knuckle boxing bout since 1889.

“The WBKBA is the first and only BKB organization hosting sanctioned fights, and our mission with our website is to connect with fighters around the world and provide with them a forum where they can network with other fighters and fight fans, discuss BKB, and get all of the latest news relevant to BKB,” said Chris Cella, President of the WBKBA.

Since the first sanctioned fight, which took place August 5, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona, the buzz for BKB has rapidly grown throughout the world. The exciting fight sport has been discussed in ESPN The Magazine, CNN, Sports Illustrated, Maxim, espn.com, and several other media outlets.

“2012 is going to be a huge year for BKB,” said Cella. “Within the next month or two current world heavyweight bare knuckle boxing champion Bobby Gunn will be putting his title on the line against an opponent to be named soon, and we have a handful of other fighters who are anxious to make their debut.”

“The response we have been receiving has been tremendous,” said Cella. “Fighters, promoters and fans have been contacting us to learn about BKB in their regions and how they can get involved in helping make it as mainstream as gloved boxing or MMA.”

Bare knuckle boxing combines the technique and strategy of a gloved boxing match with the excitement and stand-up of a MMA fight.
