MMA Acupuncture Organizing Community Educational Seminars on Acupuncture, Tai Chi and Qi Gong in the San Gabriel Valley
Carlo St. Juste, L.Ac, MAOM will be giving speeches on Acupuncture and mind body exercises in the cities of Altadena and Pasadena, California.
Altadena, CA, January 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) is growing in popularity in the US according to the NCCAM, the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Acupuncture one of the most widely used CAM therapies, and many people would like to try acupuncture but may want to gain some familiarity and knowledge by speaking to a holistic healthcare professional, which is one of the reasons why MMA Acupuncture is organizing a series of events like this throughout the year.

Mr. Carlo St. Juste Jr., L.Ac started MMA Acupuncture in 2011, which provides mobile acupuncture and holistic home healthcare services to the unincorporated cities of LA County, such as Altadena, La Cresenta, and Sunland. The lectures aim to help people of the community to learn more about the safety and benefits of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He has seen first hand the healing potential of combining eastern and western knowledge to help people take control of their health and wellness.
Mr. St. Juste is also the tai chi chuan and qi gong instructor at Porter Ranch Medical Center in Porter Ranch, California, and teaches Kung Fu Street MMA, a mixed martial art combination of Kung Fu and various other martial art styles. The research on tai chi is emerging throughout the world and he hopes to provide more information to people suffering from conditions that may benefit from daily tai chi practice.
The first lecture is scheduled for February 11, 2012, 3PM at Coco’s Restaurant in Pasadena, California. The second lecture will be on February 25, 2012, 3PM at the main branch of the Altadena Library.
