Le Méridien Presents Its New À La Carte Venue

St Julians, Malta, January 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- KuDéta Bar & lounge, situated on Level 3 of Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa, is a trendy well-established wining and dining outlet in the heart of pretty Balluta Bay. The current bar’s menu which ranges from scrumptious snacks to creamy cakes is being extended to a seated á la carte venue. The new tantalizing menu is being served every evening of the week in a designated section of the Lounge; it is open to tourists and local patrons alike. A new attractive opportunity to try out Le Méridien’s creative flair for cuisine.

Indeed, as from this January onwards, Le Méridien’s hosts are invited to enjoy a proper sit-down dinner in the new à la carte venue of KuDéTa Lounge and unveil the exquisite cuisine of Executive Head Chef Reuben Grixti. The breath-taking view on pretty Balluta Bay from KuDéTa Terraces is certainly a very pleasant added feature. The new à la carte menu includes an ample selection of starters, mains, grills and an extensive wine list.

“The initiative is being enthusiastically received by our clientèle,” explains Andre Scerri, Le Méridien’s Food & Beverage Manager. "On top of the existing casual dining still being offered at the bar, we needed to extend our dining options and to complement our popular daily buffet nights with a more intimate à la carte dining option. KuDéTa Lounge was ideal for this initiative: its fashionable atmosphere definitely enhances the dining experience at our new seated venue. Our scope was to offer a wider variety – not only in our menu items but also in our choice of outlets."

For those more casual diners, the great specialties of the Bar’s menu are still being served. One of the highlights of KuDéTa Bar & Lounge remains the popular “Do-it-yourself” Burger Menu, which one can indulge to whilst comfortably seated in one of the many sofas of the Lounge. The Bar’s food menu is available any time between 11am and 10pm.

On the other hand, Le Méridien’s new à la carte venue is open daily at KuDéta Bar & Lounge between 6.30pm and 10.00pm. Underground parking is available for visitors.
