New Castle acquired the property in 2010, and recently completed a major renovation and repositioning of the property to a Hampton Inn.
Amenities aimed at leisure and business guests include a fitness facility, business center, free hot breakfast, and a two-and-a-half story, 154-foot-long indoor waterslide dubbed the “Sheltonator.” The waterslide is the only one of its kind in the area.
