Critical Group Launches Critical Management Consulting
The Critical Group today announced its expansion into the field of management consulting. The new company, Critical Management Consulting (CMC), is directed towards international markets, with special focus on Lusophone African countries and will advise and support its clients on strategic decision-making, business planning and executing change and performance improvement measures.
Lisbon, Portugal, January 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Headquartered in Portugal, CMC aims at developing a significant share of its business activities in international markets, especially in Portuguese-speaking countries like Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde and Mozambique, strengthening lusophone relations. In addition to its standard strategic consultancy offer, the company has specialized competence centers for markets such as Telecoms, Banking & Insurance, Healthcare and Government, as well as specific methodologies for emerging issues, such as social networks and risk management.
"We are a highly experienced team, and clients appreciate that, as the main value added by this business is the know-how that we can bring to the projects and the studies we conduct," says Bruno Padinha, Partner in the new consulting unit, who, like the rest of the team members, developed his career in several global consulting firms, such as Deloitte and Arthur D. Little.
Rui Lavado, another Partner at Critical Management Consulting, believes that even the current economic climate can become a catalyst for this new business. Challenging times become times of change, in which many innovative business ideas arise (many of the major companies in the world were created during recession periods). Clients also tend to be more rigorous when choosing consultants.
According to Marco Costa, Critical Software’s CEO, "This is one more step in the Critical Group’s evolution, complementing our offer of services and technological solutions for critical processes and systems, with the ability to study the strategic and business framework of our clients and support them in management."
