New Action Adventure Novel by Richard A.M. Dixon Combines War, an Extraordinary Man, and Preternatural Animals
Author, Richard A.M. Dixon, is pleased to announce the release of his new book, Dillon’s War – The Weretiger or Kontum. Deep in the jungle a soldier encounters a tiger for what will become a life-changing experience for both tiger and man.
Tacoma, WA, January 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Fighting in Vietnam, Mike Dillon never Dreams a tiger’s bite would transform him into the wild creature that lies dormant within him. Neither does the tiger know that he will find a spiritual partner in the man he stalks as prey.
Here is the story of Mike Dillon, enigmatic anti-hero of Dillon’s War: The Weretiger of Kontum. From his birth Mike finds himself gradually drawn into the world of animals, but nothing can prepare him for the experience of his near-fatal encounter with the tiger.
Their wild adventures as a team hunting in the jungle are observed by primitive tribesmen who perceive the pair as a single entity, the mythical weretiger, an invincible beast able to shape-shift at will.
Woven from the sights and sounds of the author’s experiences during the Vietnam War, Richard A.M. Dixon’s compelling tale, Dillon’s War: The Weretiger of Vietnam explores the chilling consequences when the wild creature residing in one man surfaces.
Dillon’s War was a finalist in the 2011 Southwest Writers Association Annual contest and has been nominated for the 2012 Global Ebook Award.
