During the same period, 3 Birds’ clientele grew from just one client in 2009 to over 400 nationwide clients today. Company founders Layton and Kristen Judd were drawn to Chapel Hill from California in 2009 because of the city’s close proximity to three major universities, as well as to renowned tech center Research Triangle Park.
