Facebook Promotion Encourages Animal Rescues and Shelters to Register and Partner Up to Win Animal Shelter Product Fund.
Hauppaugue, NY, January 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Today, Animal Shelters and Rescues are struggling to care for the abundant amount of abandoned and abused animals. These organizations have found themselves in situations where just caring for the simple day to day maintenance of these animals has been a challenge. It is imperative that we, in the pet community, address these issues so that Animal Shelters and Rescues can care and find loving homes for all.

Spitz has heard the desperate pleas from shelters and rescues for help and has teamed up with pet product company, Hagen Dogit/Catit to provide $12,000 in product funding to the winning shelter & rescue organizations. While most of these types of promotions pit shelter against shelter, this one is different because shelter and rescues must pair up with another shelter or rescue to enter the race.
The $12,000 Animal Shelter Product Fund Contest is now underway. Animal shelters and rescues will partner with another shelter, register for the contest, then people vote for their favorite animal shelters, with the top vote-getting team of shelters sharing the product funding. Animal rescues and shelters have until February 15 to sign up, and then voting will begin and run through March 9. The winner will be announced March 13.
